Connection with BS1000-1 Module

In many occasions, BS610-4's onboard 16 TTL inputs and 16 outputs (8 relays and 8 open collectors) might not be enough to meet most requirements. To expand the IO, up to a maximum of 8 BS1000-1 units can be used to increase the number of TTL inputs and outpus. Connection between BS1000-1 and BS610-4 controllers is via RS-485.

E.g. When use with alarm system, usually many points is to be monitored, hence the number of TTL inputs on BS610-4 can never meet the demand. Increasing the number of BS610-4 will incurred additional costs and for the reason of cost saving, BS1000-1 is introduced. A BS610-4 can connect up to 8 units of BS1000-1 that makes up as many as 64 points to meet monitoring and control needs.
