Introduction
BTEPS-GT is developed on BTEPS platform to use for online guard tour management system. It is making use of the existing door access network and the guard tour user card to send the guard tour record generated from the card reader to the GT system via CC Command Center in real time. If no card is presented during the predefine time, guard tour point alarm will be activated from the digital map.
In comparison to the offline guard tour system, GT system is able to receive guard tour clocking in real time, immediately reflect every guard tour point patrolling situation, knowing the current guard location, full utilize the existing door access system hardware resource without installing additional equipment.
GT system will automatically process the particular day guard tour schedule when start up. If computer did not turn on for 3 days and start up on the 4th day, GT will automatically reprocess the latest 3 days guard tour schedule. The system supports multiple client, the first login client to CC will become the master client to process the guard tour schedule and the subsequence login client can only view the guard tour situation.
Guard Tour Staff, Guard Tour Point and Route
Before guard tour point setup, controller and door point need to create in DAS first before selecting the particular door point as guard tour point. Similarly, before assigning guard tour staff, department and user need to be created in DAS first. For easy management, system can create multiple guard tour group and each guard tour group is make up of many guard tour staff.
Guard Tour route is formed by several guard tour point. By dragging the guard tour point to the digital map, the manager can directly understand the current patrolling condition of different guard tour route. From system setup, the guard tour staff must either follow the guard tour point sequence and simply complete the guard tour point clocking within a predefine sequence without any sequence (Flexible Guard Tour).
Guard Tour Order, Regulation and Scheduling
Single guard tour order is make up of guard tour route, start and end time. Able to setup flexible guard tour for a particular guard tour order. A guard tour regulation is make up of a sequence of guard tour order. The setup regulation can then be assigned to different guard tour group.
Every patrolling task can be executed by any member in the guard tour group. The GT system require the person who clocking on the first guard tour point must complete the guard tour route and half way changes is not allow.
Real Time Monitoring and Guard Tour Plan
The monitoring menu can display all the current day guard tour order also describe as guard tour task. Double click the guard tour task will switch to the digital map interface. From the digital map, able to show which guard tour point has been patrol, which guard tour point has alarm (no clocking at the predefine time).
Guard Tour plan is for the convenient of manager to verify whether the GT operator guard tour schedule assignment duty roster can satisfy the security requirement. For example, patrol during holiday need to be enhance, all the guard tour point patrol frequence need to increase. Those guard tour point patrolling frequency define by the manager can easily verify from the Guard Tour Plan interface.
