    Introduction


    VMS Visitor Management System is developed on BTEPS platform  and sharing the same database as Door Access, Time Attendance, Payment, Guard Tour etc. It is used for managing visitor appointment, registration, issue card, door access right assignment, visitor check out and internal user facility booking etc.

    Visitor Appointment and Registration
    Visitor Management Software support visitor appointment registration function. When system startup, it will list down all the current day appointment list, able to query and print out all visitor appointment, registration, check out information and modify visitor appointment record. Visitor appointment registration include the following information: visitor name, visiting Staff name, visitor company, visitor number, visiting location, visiting start and end time, the purpose of visit etc.   
    When appointment visitor arrive, the current appointment visitor can be selected, check in by issuing visitor card and the system will automatically based on the visiting location to send down the visitor card information and access right to the controller via CC Command Center. During check in, the visitor photo can be captured and stored into the database using a normal USB web camera. The same photo can be retrieved during the next visit.    
    Able to provide up to 10 user field to support rapid query of historical visitor information without the need to re-entry. User field name is definable, such as user field 1 for IC number, user field 2 for passport number.
    Visitor Management Software support 3 methods of issuing card to visitor: manually enter card ID, read card ID from USB/232 read/write reader, select card from temporary visitor card list.
    When appointment visitor check in, system will automatically transfer the information from the appointment list to the visitor check in list. The system is able to modify check in user record whenever necessary.


    Visitor Access Record Tracking and Stay Timeout Alarm
    Visitor Management Software is able to query and print out any visitor check in time, check out time and their access record. If visitor did not check out after a predefine period, the system will activate an alarm.

    Meeting Location Setup
    Meeting location can be setup by selecting one or multiple door from a list of door created by DAS Door Access System. If VMS system allow a visitor access a meeting location, it mean that visitor able to gain access to those door point related to this meeting location. Meeting location is also able to setup access to which floor.


    Internal User Facility Booking and Registration
    Visitor Management System allow internal user to perform common facility booking (e.g. Meeting Room). During booking registration, the following information need to be filled in: Internal user name, department, usage purpose, start and end time. The system perform check in either by selecting from the advance booking appointment list or directly from existing internal user list. Once check in is completed, the system will send the internal user card information and access right to the controller via CC Command Center.
    The system support manual or automatic check out of internal user. After check out, the system will automatically delete the internal user from the controller via CC. By the end of the booking time, if the internal user has not check out, the system will still automatically delete internal user card information from the controller via CC.
