    Introduction

    CPS Car Park Management System is developed on BTEPS platform and share the same database as DAS, TC, POS etc. It is used for car park charging and control management. This system not only manage free parking, seasonal parking, register top up car but also unregister hourly parking. Different charging rate can be applied and control by time table, different day per week and different period within the same day.
    The whole system is make up of the following component: CPS Car Park Management System, CPS Car Park Server (BSPK-S), Car Park Controller (BS100-PK), Card Reader, LED Display etc. CPS Car Park Management System required to run on BTEPS platform and work in conjunction with CC, DAS and CS-CPS module. CS-CPS communication server is designed for CPS system in order to realize the data upload and download between CC Command Center and CPS Server/Controller.
    CPS Car Park Management System department user information can either created from DAS Door Access Management System or independently from CPS Car Park Management System. When the same card for door access is also used for car parking, the operator just need to open account and the department, user, card information will immediately transfer to CPS system. 
    In comparison to other car park system, CPS system is using professional car park network controller, able to connect 2 external wiegand readers, short and long range to be used for hourly and seasonal car respectively. Able to connect 2 car loop detector and use for card reading and card ID output for processing. In addition, controller interface with 3rd party banking cashless autopay system and connect to Network IP camera. The controller communicate with BSPK-S CPS Server via TCP/IP and support offline operation. If communication failure between server and back end computer, hourly and seasonal parking operation will not be affected.


    Flexible Charging Rule Setup
    (1) Time schedule control, each week day, period and holiday able to apply different charging rate.
    (2) Able to setup maximum charging ceiling for different period, day and rule.
    (3) Able to setup continuos or separate charging for different period.
    (4) Able to setup free access within a certain grace period.
    (5) Able to charge by fix rate or time block.
    (6) Able to setup continuous charging rate after parking exceed certain time.
    (7) System support up to 255 charging rule and different access group can setup different charging rule.


    Multiple Charging Control Method
    (1) Support Free, Seasonal, Register and Unregister hourly parking management.
    (2) Seasonal Parking can based on monthly, periodically or yearly to renew payment.
    (3) Allow issue subsidy for registered car and subsidy list will be generated and acknowledge by administrator before issue. Support registered car refund operation. Generate register car top up amount monthly close account report.
    (4) Able to setup different charging rule based on customer requirement.
    (5) System support unregister car management, card not register in the system is able to use for car park charging management.
    (6) Unregister hourly car can either be pay by cash or through 3rd party online banking payment system. Both payment by cash or 3rd party banking payment system will generate different payment record for easy processing and report generation.


    Long Range Card to realize Hand free parking
    BS100-PK Car Park controller is used for either entry or exit entrance control, able to connect short and long range wiegand reader at the same time for hourly and seasonal car parking respectively. Usually a low cost short range card will be issued by card dispenser reader or operator during hourly parking.A higher cost long range card will be place on car wind screen for free or seasonal car to satisfy hand free operation for VIP status.

    Charging Information and Parking Lot Display
    (1) When car exit, the car park controller will forward the charging information to the LED display and the allocated back end operator computer. The barrier will remotely open by operator after the payment is received.
    (2) Every entrances can install a parking lot LED display. Each LED display can setup to display either parking lot, charging information or other predefine information etc.
    (3) The LED display is connected under the respective CPS back end computer therefore any type of information can be displayed.
    (4) CPS system parking lot quantity is show on Monitoring menu and different area remaining lot is received from BSPK-S Server in real time. Individual area parking lot can be reset from the Monitoring menu.


    Photo Taking at Entry or Exit Entrances
    Every car park controller (BS100-PK) can connect a Network IP camera. All entry and exit car photo will be taken automatically and forward to CPS Car Park Management System. Operator is able to perform manual compare of the exit photo against the entry photo to increase the security level. When a seasonal car enter, the Monitoring menu will pop up the taken photo for comparison against the database storage photo to prevent buddy system or car theft problem.


    Query, Statistic, Report and Printing
    (1) Query different unprocess record, include card record, open account, top up, cash payment or online banking payment etc.
    (2) Cash Close Account, process the current operator cash collected and refund condition and print out report.
    (3) Monthly Close Account, process within one month the total register car top up, refund, payment and balance, able to print out report.
    (4) Able to base on access group to process within a certain period the access frequency and collected amount of the car park.
    (5) Able to base on car type to process within a certain period the access frequency and collected amount of free car, seasonal car, regitser and unregister hourly car.
