BTEPS platform is developed using the latest IT concept and technology. The first company who bring in “Multi-tenant” idea into security management system and able to realize the concept of multiple company “sharing common system with independent management”; Add door by user or add user by door has simplified access right assignment; Fingerprint management has improved door access system security level, centralize fingerprint enrollment and real time fingerprint image display function help to make fingerprint management more easy and convenient; Auto download of Card ID, PIN, Fingerprint and access right function has reduce the tedious operational step for administrator; Using PLC programmable logic enable real time remote monitoring and control of any devices; Taking user photo and upload to PC in real time enable back end manual comparison function; DSS Data Synchronize patented technology enable seamless data integration with 3rd party system and to realize the possibility of user door right assignment, inhabiting and reporting lost card from 3rd party system; Via OPC interface enable data sharing and integration with 3rd party BMS control system. BTEPS has the most up to date idea and technology and is able to provide the industry the refreshing concept of complete integrated security management system .
In addition to Security Management, BTEPS platform also extended its implementation to One Card Solution and Environment Monitoring and Control domain which is far beyond industry practice. On this platform, integration of time attendance management system, payment management system, car park management system, visitor management system and meeting attendance system provide enterprise company a complete one card solution.
BTEPS Enterprise Platform for Security System has successfully implemented an intelligent access control system project for the world tallest financial building - Shanghai World Financial Center. It has pass all the acceptance test carried out by the security professional from US and Japan on August 2008. The system comprises of 3000 access control points, 30+ high speed double deck lift access management. It is one of the world single structure intelligent building with the most stringent specification, contain most advance technology with highest contract value in security industry history. In this project, using build-in PLC within the access controller has seamlessly integrated with 3rd party fast lane control and fire exit door; through DSS data synchronize server to fulfill seamless integration with World Financial Center Web based Visitor Appointment Registration system and auto card downloading; through OPC interface server to achieve global fire alarm integration. The system support up to 60,000 card, daily transaction of up to 200,000, Lift support up to 90 floor, and has been praised by Japan tenant for its superior performance and reliability under such as massive deployment.
System Architecture
BTEPS runs on Windows Operating System, developed on .NET platform and Microsoft MSMQ communication method. MSMQ provides reliable, secure, prioritize, synchronize and asynchronous communication among all clients within the system. BTEPS implemented in SQL database has ensure the convenient of integration with 3rd party system.
BTEPS supports 3 types of communication server: CS, CS-POS and CS-CPS using for Door Access System, Payment System and Car Parking System. Using Communication Server able to realize upload and download data between controllers and system. From the communication server user interface, able to monitor the communication status of all controller as well as tracing their upload and download data. For a big system setup, if the number of controller is a lot or distribute across different city or area, multiple CS can be installed to improve the communication efficiency. Communication Server able to communicate with controllers via TCP/IP or Serial. Command Center
Command Center (CC) is the “heart” of BTEPS platform, using MSMQ to secure communicate among application. Setting up priority, CC able to process important data based on different priorities level. CC enable data distribution among application client to improve system operating efficiency. From CC user interface, all the connected client and application version can be view in detail.
Command Center using license file to control the number and type of client connected as well as the function. CC auto synchronize feature of any data changes to all the controllers is one of the key point for BTEPS to be the most intelligent platform in the industry.
